I have made a goal to go without sugar and carbs for 3 months. (Just shoot me now!) I have a friend who's a trainer in Phoenix. She says to eat every 2 hours a protein and a veggie and 2 fruits a day. So 6 meals total...... I am on day 5 and have been VERY good, but I am getting VERY cranky not having any sugar! There is one good side to this, I can have one cheat day a week. That means I can eat ANYTHING I want, as much as I want. She also says I have to strength train 3-5 times a week. Soooooo, like I said I am on day 5 of all this and we shall see if I can follow through and reach my goal! (once I have reached my goal I can add complex carbs in sparingly. And by that time I won't crave sugars.) We shall see!
In the meantime watch out for this scary, crazy women!

I say down with sugar. And I know that whoever invented bread was a man, because a women wouldn't be soo cruel!! I love, bread and sugar.............I need to follow your lead.
Good for you!! Keep us posted. I have never gone a day without sugar so I think I would just fall over and die if I had to do it. (I'd probably lose an easy 5 pounds just cutting out my weekly intake of sugar and carbs--without even exercising...) I'm bad.

Hey you! I have been doing the same thing. However, instead of a free day/week, I let myself have a few carbs with dinners. Makes it more "do-able" for me. Not sure I could hold out all week. Keep up the good work.
