We had so much fun the other day carving pumpkins as a family. We haven't done this for the last 3 or 4 years because of the mess it makes, so I bit my tongue and went for it! Everyone had a great time, including Michael. He is actually pretty good at it too. I was helping Morgan carve hers and kinda screwed up on the eyes and mouth so next year she is having her dad help her. Over all they turned out pretty dang good!

Darling family (and pumpkins!)My kids have yet to ask me to help them carve. They learned at a very young age that dad does a much better job. I just stand around and watch and bake the pumpkin seeds. Love the night shot picture!

I keep telling my kids that "if you carve the pumpkins, spiders will crawl inside and then what would we do?" Works wonders. No mess for me!
