San Diego 2009

Well get ready for a long post...... We just got back from a trip to San Diego with all of Michael's side of the family. It was soooooooooooooooo much fun! We do this every two years and look forward to it everytime! This year we kept our agenda wide open, which meant tons of beach and boogie boardin time! Michael did take Taylar and Bailey to a baseball game and then Michael and I were able to do baptisms for the dead with Taylar. (It was her very first time). When it was time to go home all of the kids begged us to stay one more week! If only....but, I must admit, it is nice to be home again!
Bailey took this pic of the beautiful sunset

Michael is helping Morgan head out to catch some BIG waves. She did great the first time, but then when made her do it again, she came in crying because she had been thrown around like a rag doll. It scared her pretty good!
Bailey decided to try and surf....she did awesome.

On the last day we were there Michael's brother, JD rented a surf board. Michael is getting ready to catch a good one.

It is tradition to go to Sea Port Village at least one night before we go home. It is a great place to eat and do some shopping! My two favorite things!! Below is a pic of Michael's cute parents.
Then we have Michael's sister Angie on the left with her family and then his little brother JD on the right with his wife and son.

How fun!! I'm so jealous. My kids have been pretty beach deprived their whole lives because Texas beaches do not count, they are nasty!
I love the new picture at the top of your blog- your family is so georgous!!

What a fun trip! Grayson and I leave for Capistrano Beach on Sunday (the older 3 couldn't miss school and John couldn't miss work)--I said "I'm goin' with whoever wants to join me!" Good thing Grayson's in 5th grade and missing 3 days is no big deal. We're going to Seaport Village one day down there too! Love it!!!
