Lake Powell 2009

Okay get ready.....this is a long post! I tried to do the pictures in order of the way it happened but that took too much brain power that I don't have! So here we go.....

Below is Taylar at the Bullfrog clinic getting ready for stitches. She was playing on the beach and stepped on what we think was a fish bone. This happened on day 3 of our 7 day vacation. So poor Taylar had to stay out of the water the remainder of the trip. We tried to wrap it with a plastic bag and duck tape, but that FREAKED her out so bad that it literally took an hour to calm her down. She was so afraid of getting it infected! Thank goodness that everyone on the boat owns a DS. She played and played and played that thing to help pass the time.

Below is a picture of me holding her leg and letting her dip in the water for her bath or if she needed to cool down!

Here are some water fun activities......

Here are some random pictures of everyone on the houseboat....
I had to take a pictures of the guys emptying the pooper! They were awesome!

I love this one of Dave watching a movie on his iPod....he is so clever with his earphones and belly :)

While in Lake Powell is was Father's Day and the girls gave him his gifts!

Looks like you had room for 5 more people on the boat! We are always willing to help out if you need us. I could have stitched up Taylar's foot for you. I will earn my keep!

Looks like you had a fun trip! We love that place. I can't believe Taylar's foot...OUCH!! What would kids do without their DS?
