It was my dad's retirement party last month from the Church Office in Salt Lake. My Dad has always been a great example to me.... During his "farewell" speech he mentioned that when he dies he wants to be buried in his corvette with my mom next to him! I thought that was funny of him.
After words we were able to look out, and see all of Salt Lake City from the top floor of the Church Office building. Congratulations DAD!!! I love you......now tell mom to through away that "to do list" and go play!!!

My dad used to work for the church as well. He worked for years at the Church Office Building, then moved over to the JSMB. He worked in Public Affairs. Wonder if they knew each other??
Congratulations to your dad. What a neat opportunity to work for the church. I hope he spends a lot of time playing!
