Morgan's stubborn tooth.....

WARNIG..... this may be a little gross for some of you.   Morgan had this weird tooth that wouldn't come out, but there was another tooth trying to come up.  So the loose tooth got to a point where it was literally hanging by a thread....or in other words, her gums.  I was so tired of hearing about her tooth and how much it bugged her while she ate, so one night we decided it was time to pull that darn thing out!  (I HATE pulling teeth, it's disgusting.  I'd rather clean up vomit than do this.  Okay, vomit is pretty gross too but you get my point.)  I got my fingernail nice and snug around the tooth and gave it a good yank.......Morgan screamed with tears streaming down her face, "did it come out?" To my horror it was still attached to her gums.  It was on there tight!  "No, honey.  We need to try one more time!"  I said, knowing there was no way she was going to give me another chance.  But like the Grinch, "I thought up a lie, I thought it up quick!"  I told Bailey, who was watching and trying not to laugh, to get the camera.  We would take picture of me "pretending" to pull out her tooth.  Morgan loves a good photo opp, so she agreed and we set the stage.  Just as my fingers are on her tooth again, she says, "mom, please don't............"  YANK!  I  wasn't going to fail again.  I yanked as hard as I could before she would expect it, and yes it finally came out!  Along with a lot to blood, and tears of joy!

This is when we failed the first time.  She is sucking on that wash cloth with some ice to help numb the pain.
