Am I a bad Mom?
Monday mornings are always hard to get up and get going, but for some reason my girls wouldn't even move. (I think its was all the fun we had last night at the Dunn's Super Bowl party) Well with all the whining and crying the girls won.....I let them stay home from school if they promised to clean the house (which by the way looked like a bomb had gone off) and take care of Jessey...(she is still in preschool.) So today has actually been a very productive day because I was able to get caught up on about 8 loads of laundry....washed, dryed and put away and still have time to make cookies for my slaves ;) uh I mean girls. Now I ask you other mothers or fathers.....would you ever do this?

Would do and have done....everyone needs to play hooky once in a while! Besides, you got a clean house out of it! I say let them skip once a week;)
sounds like a perfect day!
Yup...terrible mom. I may have to call DCFS on this one. If you hadn't made your slaves cookies I think there would be grounds to remove them from your home. I will keep my eye out for any more misbehavior (unless you bring ME cookies).
You are so funny. It's great that your girls are old enough to help get the cleaning done. I'd probably do it once in a blue moon at my house. Call it a sanity day! :)
I've never had all 4 stay home on the same day--what a mom! AND, to put them to work, well you're so smart too! Elementary school is a good time to let them do it since they probably won't ask when their classes are harder to make up. Hillary doesn't even want to miss a couple of days during Thanksgiving break when we go on vacation because she knows what it takes to make up the classes she misses. Oh, enjoy this time while they're young!!! Sounds like a great day...
That would never be allowed at our house. Miss School. . . NEVER!
