Spon-ta-ne-i-ty:
Behavior that is natural and unconstrained and is the result of impulse, NOT PLANNING!
That would explain Jessey's new hair do. After I put Jessey's hair in a pony tail and braided it, I thought I would tease her and pretend to be cutting her hair with a pair of sissors in my hand. It turned out that she loved the idea and begged me to do it. I tried to reason with her but she was not going to budge. At that moment I thought what the heck, her hair grows like a weed and it will always grow back. So without hesitation I started to cut. It took a minute or two before I got through all that hair, then after it was off we (me, Jessey and Bailey) all started to laugh! We laughed and laughed and laughed. It was the most spontaneous, invigorating thing we had done all summer. (at the expense of Jessey's hair)
I immediately got on the phone and made a hair appointment with a professional hair stylist and had them clean up Jessey's new do. We ended up cutting off 13 inches, and donated her hair to Locks of Love.
After all was said and done, I think I have learned something from this experiance, life is too short to always live by the rules. (within reason of course) Its okay to do something random and out of the ordinary.

You guys are CRAZY! Jessey you look great! Connor thinks it's cute too! Maybe you and your Mom can cut my hair some time. It's getting pretty long.
I can not believe it!!! She looks darling, as always!! I really could use a lesson on the spontaneity - maybe bring your scissors to pilates and get me when i'm not looking - i'm stuck in the eighties/nineties (either/or it's way past) I bet it felt so good to be so spontaneous!!
also - such a lucky little girl to get Jessey's hair!!! it's so thick and beautiful!!!
Karra,
We are so proud of you, now you are teaching us....
love, mom and dad
